SafeTea is a privacy-first personal safety platform for women. Every account is tied to a verified human — no AI-generated photos, no stock images, no bots. Our core tools:
- SafeTea Check-In — share your plans with trusted contacts via SMS, with live tracking during a date or meetup.
- SafeTea Pulse — real-time session monitoring that detects inactivity, missed check-ins, and unexpected route changes, then escalates to your emergency contacts.
- SOS Record & Protect — discreet audio recording and location alerts, triggered from the Tools tab.
- SafeLink — temporary live-location sharing with anyone, for rides or walks.
- Safety Vault — end-to-end encrypted journaling, photo/audio/video documentation, and trusted-contact release. A SafeTea+ feature.
- Name Watch — monitor names across SafeTea community posts and get alerts when a name is mentioned.
- Tea Talk — Safety Support Chat — safety-only community feed moderated for accuracy.
- AI-powered Conversation Scanner — paste a profile or chat and our AI analyzes it for manipulation tactics and red flags.
Built on verified identity
Every SafeTea account passes a selfie + liveness challenge before accessing community features. We do not store biometric data or ID images — verification data is processed and permanently deleted immediately after review. We retain only the pass/fail result and a timestamp.
This is what makes SafeTea different: you are always talking to a real, verified human.
Founders & team
SafeTea is veteran-founded. Our team combines backgrounds in military service, trust & safety engineering, and survivor advocacy. The product is built in consultation with survivors, trauma-informed-care practitioners, and gender-based-violence response experts.
